Digital planning and production

After the introducing the digital factory is done in many field of production planning, there was increasing demand for supporting methods for work with digital factory tools.

As well as improved networking of modelling activities’ content, the linking between planning and production is given a high piority in the future . 

In this case, concepts and solutions are being sought, such as adjustments and changes which take place in real factory operations, to be incorporated into digital models of production planning. In addition, a further benefit for production can be derived from the digital factory, allowing the transfert of planning data. In the context of digital planning and production, knowledge and information management is becoming increasingly important as a supporting method. Information networking in planning and production poses a great challenge.
