Optimiation of logistical processes
In view of the fragmented and increasingly global vehicle production industry, a great challenge lies in the reduction of logistics costs with, at the same time, higher requirements for quality and flexibility in logistics processes.
Among other things, INPRO focuses on integrated simulations and optimization in production logistics. Priorities are optimised contract distribution among production sites, as well as optimized production series, lot sizes and delivery frequencies. In addition, INPRO has developed a planning for logistics-oriented product structuring, as well as a physics-based simulation tool for container volume optimization.
INPRO has specialized in the following fields within the sectors of production planning & control and logistics:
- systematic process and requirements analyses,
- system concepts in the context of digital logistics planning,
- prototypical implementation of software components and systems,
- materials flow simulations,
- technology and trend scouting
