INPRO prize for engineering science works
An opportunity for innovative ideas
INPRO Innovationsgesellschaft für fortgeschrittene Produktionssysteme in der Fahrzeugindustrie mbH is an affiliate of German vehicle manufacturers (Volkswagen, Daimler) and supplier firms (Siemens, ThyssenKrupp, Sabic) as well as the Federal State of Berlin. INPRO's innovative services consist of transferring basic research results in the field of production engineering to partner firm applications. INPRO lives off good ideas and has set itself the objective of promoting young engineering scientists.
INPRO prize
The INPRO prize is awarded under the patronage of its members to innovative degree/Master's theses and dissertations related to production engineering. The theme for the 2009 INPRO prize was "Energy and resource-efficient production." This included, for example, energy-saving technologies/processes, efficiency-focused planning, simulation and control as well as environmental efficiency of process chains.
