- We transfer state variables for you between different FE models of the same geometry but different meshes (parameter mapping) as well as between models with deviating geometry (geometry mapping).
How does the simano Mapping Service works?
You have an FE simulation model (shell, midplane or solid elements e.g. for Abaqus or LS-Dyna) and scan data (stl data) of a physical prototype and want to perform a more advanced FE analysis based on the geometry of the physical prototype:
- With our industry-proven simano tools, we deform your finite element calculation model very specifically so that it lies exactly in the position of the measured data.
How much does the simano Mapping Service cost?
- Mapping orders up to a total of 1 million elements: 1000€ plus VAT.
- Mapping orders up to a total of 10 million elements: 2000€ plus VAT.
- Further mapping orders upon request.
