Digital twins of products, parts, and production systems consist of various components that are generated and managed in different models, data formats, and engineering systems. inpro develops solutions and software for simulation and for integrating the world of PLM into the physical world of factory operation. The components of the digital twin are interlinked through the life cycle phases of engineering, start-up, and operation. The integration of the engineering systems and the different data sources (federated data) play an essential role. Engineering and simulation systems are continuously developed and optimized through inpro modules. In particular, the focus is placed on increasing productivity, reducing time-to-production, and ensuring error-free production.
