One focus is the further development of the possible use of robots in automotive production. Although the degree of automation in the automotive industry is one of the highest, products and manufacturing processes are undergoing profound change. The flexibilization of the entire value chain poses new challenges for robots, but at the same time technological progress enables the use of robots in complex process steps that previously had to be carried out manually.

Process Simulate is the leading platform for the virtualization of manufacturing processes from process selection to commissioning, including offline robotics. The benefits are clear: faster time-to-market at lower cost, higher quality or lower error rates and greater flexibility to adapt to technological advances. The increasing virtualization of production also has a positive impact on meeting sustainability criteria. However, the software platform’s scope of services only unfolds its full effect in combination with in-depth industry-specific processes. With its methodical innovation approach, inpro even goes one step further and combines identified process optimizations and potential digitalization approaches for entire production areas with disruptive technological possibilities.
