In the research project FertiRob, the project partners are dedicated to “Simulation Models as Part of the Digital Product Twin”. The aim is to harness the potential of digital twins for the automated production and assembly of stacks and electrolysers for hydrogen production.

In the research project “Holistic implementation of hybrid construction methods in series production (hypro)”, a process chain (physical and virtual) for fiber composite-plastic-metal hybrid structures will be established, which, due to its practical relevance, shows a competitive way of hybrid materials into industrial application. Digitization of hybrid structures in development, characterization and manufacturing, as well as the merging of real and simulation data, will enable calculation-based non-destructive inline quality assurance and prediction of component properties.
