Hannover Messe 2024 was a complete success for the inpro team. The highlight among many was certainly the Final of the Factory Innovation Award where we received two awards for our innovation work. Our twino product team won second place for the simple operation of the digital twin on the shopfloor. Our spin-off COMAN even emerged as the winner with its solution for industrial project management. For us at inpro, these awards are a valuable confirmation of our innovation work. The feedback from the high-caliber jury of experts reflects our assessment of the value creation potential of these digital solutions for industry and the quality of the technical implementation.

twino: Fast parts inspection for even faster commissioning

With twino, we break down the vision of the digital twin to a specific core process and enable our customers to virtualize selected manufacturing processes end-to-end. We close the gap between simulation-based engineering and the use of these virtual product designs on the store floor. Expensive and time-consuming measurement technologies without a connection to engineering systems are replaced by a lean high-tech solution or enable companies to introduce economically optimized high-precision into the early product development process for the first time.

COMAN: Industrial project management solution

Our Spin-off COMAN has already been very well established on the market for several years and is expanding worldwide. The Factory Innovation Award will further increase awareness of new possibilities in industrial project management. What makes COMAN software so special? On the one hand, the way in which project management information is displayed, and which information is displayed, and on the other, the way in which project management workflows can be integrated into ongoing processes. The intuitive user guidance also enables new users to quickly get started with tool-supported work. COMAN acts as a single point of truth for project-relevant data and accelerates the digitalization of factory processes with industry-specific project templates.

Success factor: Collaborative Incubation

inpro operates along the entire innovation management life cycle, from identifying the most promising ideas to developing the corresponding digital solutions and successfully commercializing the innovations developed. Collaboration with a large number of different stakeholders, depending on the maturity of the innovation, is a key success criterion that is becoming increasingly prevalent in the digital industry with the concept of the platform economy. As a pioneer of this approach, we are delighted to continue on our successful path as part of our Collaborative Incubation-program, the starting point and hub of our innovation management for automotive production.
