COMAN

The software solution COMAN (COnstruction MANager) was developed to meet the specific requirements and needs of the participating large corporations Volkswagen, Daimler, Siemens and Thyssenkrupp, as no innovative solution that comes close to meeting their needs has existed in this area to date. Since 2009, COMAN has been developed in close cooperation with the shareholders of inpro. This otherwise hardly possible long-term, close, demand- and target-oriented development of a software solution is almost unique and only possible in the described constellation. The result is a customer- and practice-oriented software solution for digital project management in the construction of complex production plants.

COMAN links plant layout (CAD), plant bill of materials and scheduling with customer-specific visualization for efficient project management. All project managers are provided with trade-specific views and access for recording project progress and all defects, so that close coordination with all project managers can be effectively ensured that the project is realized within the planned time, cost and quality framework. This makes COMAN an effective and proven collaboration platform for the project business in plant engineering. COMAN is currently used by the above-mentioned groups in productive operation as a standard and in projects worldwide.
