Innovations around laser and automation technology

In 2000, our former student employee Igor Haschke founded Scansonic GmbH and developed a completely new system for laser soldering. The innovation: Via the integrated filler wire, the laser processing optics senses the exact component position and guides the soldering process along a perfect seam. Today, the product range includes laser optics for welding, soldering, hardening, cutting as well as precise sensor technology for process and quality monitoring. Scansonic sets worldwide industry standards for laser joining in car body construction.

Scansonic grew quickly and became the nucleus of today’s Berlin.Industrial.Group. At the technology campus in Berlin-Marzahn, the group’s approximately 350 employees manufacture innovative high-tech products. These include diode lasers, turbine seals, 3D metal printers or optical measurement technology.
